Lauren has 20 years of fundraising experience, with an emphasis on case for support, institutional giving and major gift campaigns. She was a development coach at Teach For America’s national office, working with TFA regions across the country providing strategic planning and campaign guidance. She has managed local, regional and multi-national fundraising teams for organizations in education, youth development, advocacy, policy reform and social services, with budget sizes from $2M - $300M. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University, and a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from the Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University, and served on the board of VE Global for 10 years.
Lauren founded the LAC Group in 2020 with her sister Christine to provide customized nonprofit strategic support to organizations of all sizes and in all stages of development.
Christine started her career as a teacher in NYC public schools before changing careers to focus on her project management skills. She spent more than 10 years as a project manager in the sound department at a film and television post-production facility and now provides hands-on support for fundraising campaigns. She is also our resident grant writer, prospect research strategist and capacity assessment expert. She received a BA in Education from SUNY New Paltz.
